Day Of Relaxation

After our crazy day of snorkeling, swimming & monkey encounters we all enjoyed a very relaxing day in Phuket.  The girls had been asking about getting their nails done & so we started our day out with manicures for Rachel & Erica.

You would have thought they were getting massages too the way they had them lay down to get their NAILS done!?

Lovin' Life

I left Rachel & Erica alone to enjoy their "spa" morning together.  I'm really glad I did.  It was so nice to see them "glowing" when they came around the corner hand in hand.  It was a special thing to share as sisters.  I hope they will have more and more "sisterly" moments as they grow older.  My sister, Emily, and I share such a special bond & I hope my girls will experience that in time as well.

A little stop at the local Starbucks!  YUM!

Getting your own bottle of SODA is a BIG deal!

Hair Flowers for the Girls & Boxing Gloves for the Boys

So obviously, the boxing gloves were Daddy's idea & OF COURSE the boys LOVED them!  From the moment we bought them until the time we left to fly back to Bangalore - The boys wore them everywhere!  And everywhere we went the boxing gloves created a scene!  People would be fist bumping the boys and smacking their fist into their other palm & hooting & hollering at the boys.  Grown men would ask to try them on & then would proceed to "fake fight" with the boys.  It was hysterical!

The Fab Four stopping to "Cheese it Up" for the camera!

Dinner Time!
I couldn't get enough of these two cute little "Christmas" looking boats!  LOVED THEM!

Everyone helped pick out the lobster.

Forget the Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...This year - It's prawns roasting on a coconut fire!!

Even when we are back home in Bangalore, we have found that using coconuts for our campfires is a good source of "fuel".  Wood for burning is hard to find but coconut shells you kind find in abundance!

Check out the crazy supply of coconuts in the background!

Making "friends" with our dinner!

Pretty Isn't He!?
Ahhhhh.....
Cheers!

When we got back to our hotel late that night we had a FUN surprise waiting for us....Santa's Thai Elves had put up all kinds of twinkle lights for Christmas!

Thus ends night two in Thailand!  Everyone needs a good night of sleep as we will be up first thing tomorrow for an elephant trekking adventure!
